What is credit rating?

The rating is calculated on the basis of a mathematical algorithm which takes account of a number of factors.

The credit rating carried out by Soliditet A/S is an expression of the probability of any given company causing its suppliers payment problems. This probability is rated with a letter code.

The credit rating is divided into 7 levels:

AA = High creditworthiness

A = Creditworthy

NY = Newly established company
There is no negative information about the company's solvency.
Its development should be monitored closely.

IR = Rating not possible
Essential information about the company is either missing or no longer relevant.
Please observe that Banks, insurance companies, investment companies etc. are also given this rating.

B = Secured credit
Credit risk. The company’s ability to meet current payment obligations is assessed as being poor.

C = Credit discouraged
High credit risk. The company’s ability to meet current payment obligations is assessed as being very poor.
