Chopper pumps.

Landia has produced chopper pumps for more than 50 years. Our product range includes submersible pumps, dry-installed pumps and long-shaft pumps - all available in cast iron or  solid stainless steel. Our pumps are characterized by their unique chopping system which prevents blocking and at the same time comminutes dry matter particles according to the process requirements.

Our pumps handle tasks at treatment plants where traditional pumps often became blocked, e.g. in septic sludge and in connection with recirculation of sludge in digesters.

The unique concept

In the Landia chopper pumps the chopping system is a separate unit, clearly separated from the pump casing and the impeller. Thus we avoid blocking of the pump and the subsequent piping and wear and damage of the pump casing and the impeller in connection with the chopping.

  • Waste oil from e.g. car repair shops
