Chopper pumps

Landia has manufactured chopper pumps for more than 50 years. Our extensive product line includes submersible pumps, dry-installed pumps and long-shaft pumps - all available in cast iron or solid stainless steel. Our pumps are characterized by their unique chopping system which prevents blocking while at the same time comminutes dry matter particles according to the process requirements.

Our pumps handle tasks and provide solutions in industrial applications where traditional pumps often become blocked, e.g. in wastewater and other liquids containing rags, meat or fish by-products, hair, paper or plastic, etc.

Mixers, flowmakers and recirculation pumps

AirJet aerators (pdf)

Based on our chopper pumps we have developed a complete product catalog of venturi aeration systems characterized by low investment costs, durability and constant efficient oxygen transfer throughout the lifetime of the system. The chopping system of the pump prevents blocking of the ejector nozzle.

Our AirJet product line includes systems containing submersible pumps, dry-installed pumps and systems mounted on floating pontoons.

Landia chopper pumps, mixers and recirculation pumps are in operation in process plants worldwide and are used for the treatment of difficult mediums. The units are operating in, e.g. meat and fish processing plants, the fruit and vegetable industry, paper mills, correctional facilities, and in connection with by-product processing plants, in tanneries, the chemical industry, as well as many other industries.
