Side-entry mixers for biogas
The Landia PowerMix side-entry mixers are most often used for mixing liquids that have a high dry matter content or for liquids that have a high temperature. The solid stainless steel propeller with its backward curved blades is designed to shed stringy materials, which makes this mixer ideal for the tough applications within biogas plants.
The benefits of a side-entry mixer for biogas
By mounting the mixer through the side of the tank wall, regular lubrication and prescribed oil changes can be done from outside the tank. Thus, allowing the machine to continue its daily operation without needing to empty the tank or lift the mixer out.
The Landia PowerMix side-entry mixer is equipped with a fan-cooled motor that is completely shielded from the liquid. All parts of the mixer that are in contact with the liquid are constructed of solid stainless steel.
The side-entry mixer can be installed on virtually all types of above-ground tanks.
